How does it work?

If you work as Armed Forces personnel you can get government backed assistance towards your deposit. You will be provided with a 10 year interest free loan which you can use as your deposit for your new home.

How much will I get?

You can get up to 50% of your annual salary which is capped at a maximum loan amount of £25000.

How does this help me?

It enables you to provide a deposit for your new home. You can also use your own savings to compliment this. Having a bigger deposit can help you to secure a better mortgage deal.

Am I eligible?

Forces Help to Buy is available to regular service personnel who:

1- have completed the pre-requisite length of service

2- have more than 6 months left to serve at the time that they apply

3- meet the right medical categories
