Gifted Deposits

Can I use a gifted deposit to buy my new home?

Yes you can! Most lenders will accept a gifted deposit.

How does a gifted deposit work?

You can use money gifted to you (often by family members) to pay towards your property purchase. You will need to declare this to your mortgage broker and solicitor. The gifted deposit will work exactly the same as any deposit. It is important that the person providing the deposit understands that they will not have a financial interest in your new property.
